Application Fee(non-refundable)--$250 due upon submission of application
Homestudy Services:
$2,000 homestudy fee--due at the beginning of the homestudy process
$1,000 homestudy update fee--due at the beginning of the homestudy update process (applies only if the original is less than five years old, and an update is needed for applicants to change programs)
$350 additional for an expedited homestudy (within 60 days)
Pre-Placement Coordination
$750 upon approval of homestudy
Post-placement supervision and legalization services
$2,000 requirements vary depending on the type of adoption. For example, Massachusetts requires six month of supervision. This entails at least three face-to-face meeting and monthly telephone contact. After each visit the social worker will write a report and then forward it on the the appropriate agency or source.
If support is needed beyond the six months, additional fees are applied.
